Two quick things after installing:
- Plug in the Hantek 1008A.
- Install a USB driver once with Zadig →
select the Hantek device (USB ID
0783 / 5725) → choose libusb-win32 → Replace Driver. This lets the app talk to the scope.

Good to know
The underlying USB protocol was reverse-engineered against the Hantek 1008C; the 1008A is nearly identical but a command or two may need tweaking. If the live display errors out, the built-in Simulation mode still works so you can verify the app itself.
